Becoming - Versions
Presenting this one is proving a problem. You should see an entire two
page spread, then turn a page to see the next, to keep the flow as designed
(like you would if you had the comic book). The Flash version provides
that. But it resizes to fit your browser window, and if you're running
it on a 15" screen, you won't be able to read the captions.
If the Flash
version is too small on your monitor, the next best version is the PDF. On a slow connection, though,
just clicking to view it in your browser window can be deadly slow. If
you have trouble, right-click and save the PDF,
and view the downloaded file. You can zoom in on the PDF to see
detail better and you can print it.
If you have a small monitor and a super slow connection, then you'll have
to use the option that presents the pages in the worst way—viewing them page
by page as JPG files on a webpage, and scrolling down to see everything.
