Hmmm, this looks a lot like the July journal... It was
supposed to be a summer journal, but I screwed up. So it
really hasn't changed, except for:

The Toronto chapter of Romance Writers of America is running a
huge contest, giving away a signed copy of each published
member's latest book. How many published members could the
small Toronto chapter possibly have? Take a look and find

Yes, it's on my site. I'm a member and the "published
authors liaison" so I'm running the contest. Please note
that, unlike my personal contests, this one is open to North
American residents only. We realized we couldn't afford to
ship that many books overseas!

official dates being July 1 for NA and July 6 for the UK)

My first American bookstore signing! Well, discounting a
small one I did years ago during a convention with a bunch of other
authors... I consider this my first "real" US signing
event. And there are two of them, both in the San
Francisco area, both with NYT-bestselling YA author
Melissa Marr.

Those San Francisco signings required their own special notice,
but I have a lot more going on this summer, including
appearances at Comic-Con in San Diego. If you're going to
Comic-Con, be sure to check my schedule, particularly the Bantam
booth appearances, where I'll be signing FREE copies of
No Humans Involved and
Exit Strategy. Details on all my
