HarperCollins has temporarily posted the entire book of The Summoning on their site.  If you haven't read it, this is a chance to check it out for free!  You'll find it here.

 

Angelic Second Chance Contest
Angelic was sold out on release. Although there's an audio version, I have no plans for another print version.  For those who ordered a copy and got caught in the shortfall, I'm giving away 5 of mine in a "second chance" contest.  You'll find details of that here.

The Reckoning Release Date and Sample Chapters
The release date for The Reckoning has been moved up to April 6!  Also, we've begun releasing new chapters on the 1st and 15th of each month, meaning by the time the book comes out, we'll have posted the first ten chapters.  You can find those here.


Bookclub Update
February's pick will be Nicole Peeler's Tempest Rising, hosted by Selestial.  For March, Dannigrrt will host our own OWG member Ian O'Neill's Endo.  You'll find the bookclub here.

April 16 7 PM. Coles Argyle Mall, London, ON. Signing. It is expected that this will be my only Canadian event for The Reckoning due to extensive US touring in May/June.

July 5-9 Writing the Popular Novel: Dark Fantasy.  Teaching week-long workshop. University of Toronto.
July 16-18 Guest of Honour at Polaris convention.  Toronto, ON. Details to follow
Sept 11 1-4 PM Writing YA workshop. North York Library, Toronto, ON.  This workshop is being run by the Toronto chapter of RWA.  Non-members can attend for free (if it's your first visit, otherwise, there's a small charge of $5/$10)
Sept. Smart Chicks Kick It tour with Melissa Marr, Alyson Noel and more. Toronto, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix & Austin. Dates and more cities to follow.
